A man has appeared in court having been charged with a house burglary in Winchester.
Jonathan Marney, 30, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of burglary dwelling and theft – no violence.
It follows an incident at a house in Woodfield Drive, on Friday 21 December, in which Christmas presents, a wallet and a car were stolen. Some stolen items and the car were later recovered.
He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Saturday 22 December and is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 23 January 2019.
