UPDATE: Man charged following Lymington assault

A man has been charged following an assault in an alleyway in Lymington on Monday evening (July 30).

Adam Martin, 35, of Samber Close, Lymington, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article.

The charges comes following an assault in an alleyway between Kings Crescent and Samber Close, at around 10.10pm on July 30. A 52-year-old man suffered a stab wound.

Mr Martin is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning (August 1).
