Fatal collision on Froyle Road near Lower Froyle

We are investigating a fatal collision which took place this morning (Friday 26 October) near Lower Froyle.

Officers were called to Froyle Roadat 7.13am following reports that a Blue Ford Ka had collided with a fence post.

The collision took place between Lower Froyle and the junction that leads north to Long Sutton.

The driver, a 40-year-old man from South Warnborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.

PC Paul Farquharson of Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for anyone with information about this collision to come forward and talk to police.

“Were you driving along this road this morning between 6.45am and 7.15am? Did you see what happened, or did you notice a stationary blue car?”
